About the team


We are a virtual & hybrid event service provider, looking for someone with excellent English writing/research skills to create blog posts and newsletter articles primarily for the American B2B market. Our target audience are event managers and meeting planners.


About you


You are a content SEO superstar, a natural storyteller and writer, and love writing content — no matter how short or long it is. You have a knack for understanding and adapting editorial, voice, and tone guidelines. You’re a stickler for grammar and spelling and an exceptional self-editor. You’re deadline-driven, organized, efficient, and an outstanding communicator.


Responsibilities


Write SEO-optimized web content, including articles, customer stories, etc.

Partner with SEO and content team to implement keyword strategies for the web

Rewrite and optimize existing web content based on SEO best practices

Ensure written content follows editorial, voice, and tone guidelines

Establish SEO writing guidelines and share best-practices teams

Partner with SEO team to gather content performance data and share insights

Requirements


Degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or related field

2+ years of experience writing engaging, best-in-class SEO-optimized content

Knowledge of SEO and content best practices

Knowledge of Google Analytics

Preferred requirements


Experience copy editing content

Knowledge of SEO tools such as SEMRush, etc.

Knowledge about hybrid and virtual events
